RoomCaddie

Dealers & installers

For sim builders and installers: fewer service calls, a finished handoff, dealer pricing.

Fewer service calls

Your client's PC starts straight into RoomCaddie. Setup turns on Start with Windows, so the room is ready when the PC is. Golf, games, movies and streaming are tiles, one tap each, and when a program closes your client is back at the tiles. To shut down, restart or sleep the PC, they use RoomCaddie's own power button. Day to day, Windows is out of the picture, which means fewer service calls to you.

When a client does call, ask them for Settings > Support info > Copy support info. That gives you the versions, the screens, the tiles, the recent launches and the last log lines, with names, folder paths and keys already removed, so you can often see the problem without a visit.

A finished handoff

You hand over a console, not a desktop:

  • Fully customizable. Your client's room name and logo across the top, a theme, and their own photos or scenes on the tiles. No two installs look alike.
  • One tap starts the round. One tile starts the launch monitor, then the simulator, in order, and each program opens on its own screen.
  • It can run the room you built. With a smart home hub (Home Assistant, or any web address), a tile can tell the hub to turn on the projector, set the lights and lower the screen.

Dealer pricing, and the key is yours

Approved dealers buy RoomCaddie at a dealer price, using their own discount code at checkout on roomcaddie.com. You buy each key in your business's name and install it in your client's room. One key covers up to three PCs in one room. What you charge your client for the install is up to you.

Dealer pricing is on request: email [email protected] with your business name and website.

You run the client relationship

Your clients call you, not us. You support them, and we support you by email at [email protected], with a reply within one or two business days. If one of your clients writes to us, we help them and copy you, unless they ask us not to.

Questions

Is there a master licence for several rooms?

No. Each client room gets its own key, which covers up to three PCs in that room.

How do I become a dealer?

Email [email protected] with your business name, your website and roughly how many rooms you install a year. We look at your business, and if it is a fit, we send the dealer terms in a short email along with your own code.

What does the room PC need?

Windows 11, a screen RoomCaddie can fill, and the internet once, on first launch, to check the key. After that RoomCaddie runs offline. Once a week, when nothing is running, it confirms the key and looks for a newer version.

Are updates included?

Every 1.x update is included, free, for every room, for as long as 1.x is the current RoomCaddie.

What if a client wants a refund?

Refunds go to whoever bought the key, which for a dealer key is you: the same 14 days as anyone. A refunded key stops working on your client's PCs within about a week, so talk to your client before you refund one.
